My father told it to us many times while on our Sunday drive. It was particularly interesting to us because our grandmother, as a 16 year old bride, lived on the farm that was Grace's childhood home. Being a child herself, and having heard all the stories, she was freightened to stay in the house alone, so habitually went to the barn when her husband, my grandfather was doing the "chores."
